Based on the latest United States census data, the service provides accurate and quick lookups for street addresses, returning a latitude and longitude suitable for use in mapping, database queries or any other use.
There are no royalties or copyright restrictions on data obtained through the service, as the data is based on public domain United States census data.

What is geocoding?
Simply put, geocoding is turning a street address into latitude and longitude, like this:

How do I use your service?
Use http://easygeocode.com/geocode.php?a=Address, City, State, Zip from within a web browser or from inside of your application. The result will be in the format longitude,latitude, like what's shown above. If no result is found or the address wasn't understood, the result is 0,0. If an internal error occurs, the error message will be returned. (Hint: Error messages will never contain a comma, so testing for a comma is a quick way to test for an error.)
What does it cost?
